For last week’s challenge, we received 14 replies and everyone was correct – Paris!  Winner is Emilio Roig. Congratulations Emilio! Your coffee shop gift card is on its way to you.

I appreciate when you write back with details about the photos’ exact locations. Regarding the Paris photo, Drs. Duriez and Tindoni correctly identified the location as the Pont de Bir-Hakeim. Here’s a historical tidbit regarding the bridge’s name: “It was renamed in 1948 to commemorate the Battle of Bir Hakeim, fought by Free French forces against the German Afrika Korps in 1942.” – Wikipedia.

Now, Dr. Roig hurt my feelings by writing, “Paris. Easy.” Dr. Roig is correct, of course. I should make the photos a little more challenging. The LifeBrief readers are a particularly astute and well-traveled group.
